Friends of the Finned

Take a deep breath, dive beneath the surface, and explore how caring for underwater friends can teach responsibility and emotion regulation. Each session connects emotional learning with fish care routines like feeding, observing, and tank decoration, helping students practice responsibility, focus, and kindness to themselves and others. As determined by the caregiver, each child will get a live fish with food, care supplies, and fish care instructions or a stuffed animal fish friend to bring home at the end of the course, and a set of underwater-themed cards with emotion regulation practices.
